2. We are starting with "characterization," in the short story unit. What do you believe makes a good character in fiction. ie. believability, internal
conflict, motivation, agency (the character is active not passive makes
decisions and attempts to control his/her own destiny)?
Here are some examples of everyday characters : Percy Jackson/ Lacey Pemberton
(Paper Towns)/ Augustus Waters (Fault in Our Stars)/ the incredible hulk/
batman/wonder woman….. The characters from Riverdale (Archie, Veronica and
Betty).
What are some that you suggest? Come up with characteristics for your character. Pair Work
3 Time to work on your Visual Stories. They are Due Friday, September 14, 2018. You may need to finish them at home.
