1. Review and housekeeping: work handed back and looking for missing assignments.
2. Push and Pull Factors Discussion and Activity:
Today we will
talk about Push and Pull factors. To make it relative, we
will discuss the reasons why someone would choose to move to the
Sunshine
Coast. In groups we will move around the classroom and figure what
would make us want to leave and what will make us choose a specific land
to move to. We try to answer what pulls people to move
here as well as others that push them to leave.

Another Country
Finally we will discuss what were the attractions (pull factors) for those people living in the
early 1800 to come to Canada and what may have been the push factors.
