Today the assignment page of your Weebly is due. I have now checked over all the Weeblies handed in and have noted that for 70% there are things missing. Try to be sure that you have everything that is required. Review the blog and check off each of the requirements. If you have finished, I would like you to sign into Code Academy and begin working on the first level. For the next while we will use Code Academy and Code Games next to our daily assignments.
Code Academy
We will start with a basic understanding of HTML. HTML is the
programming language that most websites use. It is by far one of the
most used coding languages in the world. Exciting stuff.
Using an online site called Codeacademy we will all learn basic coding.
After you have signed in you will be doing the first lesson HERE called Lesson One HTML Basics.
Make sure you read and follow directions on the left hand side very closely. Computers will not fill in the blanks for you.
If you move quickly through the lesson I will be adding a bonus lesson for extra marks.
To make sure that you have completed every lesson I need you to take a screen shot of every second lesson screen. Once you have done that,
open a word document and paste it into there. I'll need ten in total.
